High Stakes Cattle Ranch is a family farm run by Gene and Philana Friede. We are dedicated to providing your family with high-quality, healthy, happy beef at a fair price. We feed our cattle the best organic feed so you can feel good about feeding our beef to your family.
We maintain quality genetics by rotating bulls and mixing breeds to create a vigorous herd. The herd are rotational grazers on 40-acres of organic, all-natural feed, including grasses, fescues, and small grains.

Custom Order Organic Beef
How much do you want?
We sell custom order organic beef by the 1/4. For example, you can order 1/4, 1/2, or a whole steer. The total weight in a 1/4 will vary from one steer to the next, but it should be from 100-150 pounds. More information can be found here.

We process our beef at Pernat’s, a second-generation, family-owned meat processor based in Watertown. We can supply a cut sheet by request for any customizations you want to make to your order. For example, you might want to specify the thickness of your steaks, or if you want round steak or would rather have that as ground beef.
